Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 250 New Cases In Nigeria; 41 In FCT, 21 In Lagos, 14 In Delta, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and fifty (250) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 250 coronavirus cases in the country, 69 were reported in Plateau, 41 in the FCT, 21 in Lagos, 14 in Delta, 14 in Kaduna, 13 in Bayelsa, 13 in Enugu, 11 in Ekiti, 9 in Bauchi, 8 in Ogun, 7 in Edo, 7 in Oyo, 6 in Rivers, 4 in Adamawa, 4 in Osun, 3 in Nasarawa, 2 in Ebonyi, 2 in Kwara, 1 in Gombe and 1 in Imo.
As of Saturday, August 29th, 2020 there are 53,727 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 41,314 patients have been discharged, with 1,011 deaths.
