Coronavirus: NCDC Confirms 213 New Cases In Nigeria; 51 In Lagos, 51 In Plateau, 29 In FCT, Others
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said it has confirmed two hundred and thirteen (213) new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
Of the newly-confirmed 213 coronavirus cases in the country, 51 were recorded in Lagos, 51 in Plateau, 29 in the FCT, 18 in Rivers, 12 in Ondo, 9 in Oyo, 8 in Osun, 7 in Gombe, 7 in Ogun, 5 in Kaduna, 4 in Enugu, 3 in Edo, 3 in Jigawa, 3 in Kano, 1 in Benue, 1 in Delta and 1 in Sokoto.
As of Friday, September 25th, 2020 there are 58,062 confirmed coronavirus cases in Nigeria. 49,606 patients have been discharged, with 1,103 deaths.
Note: On the 23rd of September 2020, the NCDC erroneously reported 1 death in Bayelsa State.
Today’s cumulative discharged cases includes 364 recovered patients in Katsina State who were managed in the community.
