Eight Persons Dead, Six Injured In Bus-Tanker Collision In Anambra

Eight people have been killed and six injured in a sad road accident at Ukpo Junction along the Nteje-Awka Road in Anambra State, according to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Anambra Sector Command. On Monday in Awka, the Sector Commander, Mrs. Joyce Alexander, gave reporters confirmation of the occurrence. According to Alexander, a Toyota Hiace bus with registration number EKP375XM and a Mack tanker without a registration number were involved in the Sunday night collision. According to Alexander, initial inquiries and eyewitness reports suggested that the bus was traveling from Abakaliki to Onitsha at the time of the collision.Read More
