Morewo Primary School In Akko LGA, Gombe State, Where Pupils Sit On Bare Floor To Learn
Our correspondent’s attention has been drawn to an elementary school in Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State where pupils are subjected to deplorable conditions, while in search of much-needed education.
The said school, Morewo Primary School, reportedly has well over 250 pupils who sit on the bare floor to read and write in an “unpleasant condition”. They have neither standard classrooms nor furniture.
These underprivileged children who are eager to learn, just like every other kid out there, need standard classrooms and furniture. Let’s recall that education is the right of every child.
People are calling on His Excellency, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Executive Governor of Gombe State to build standard structure for the needy children who want to get proper education.
