A yet-to-be-identified woman lost her life on Thursday, May 21st, 2020 when a petrol-laden tanker rammed into a Volkswagen car and a Mazda bus on the Otedola Bridge in Lagos State.

Flavision learnt that the vehicles were coming from Ogun State and heading for Lagos when the tragic incident happened around 8.10 am.

Apart from the woman, who lost her life, two adult men and a child sustained varying degrees of injury in the crash.

The Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, who confirmed the incident, said the injured victims were taken to hospital for treatment, while the corpse was deposited in a mortuary.

He stated that the three affected vehicles had also been evacuated from the road and vehicular movement restored.
