The Nigeria Police Force has said the two policemen captured in a viral video assaulting and repeatedly flogging a woman in Osun State have been tried and found guilty.

The errant officers were Inspector Ikuesan Taiwo and Police Constable Abass Ibrahim.

They have been dismissed from the Nigeria Police Force, and will be arraigned before a court soon to face the full wrath of the law.

The Nigeria Police Force disclosed this on Friday, April 24th, 2020 via a tweet on its official Twitter handle, @PoliceNG.

The following is the official tweet by the NPF for verification purposes, regarding the trial, sacking and imminent arraignment of the former police officers who thought they were above the law, until the law caught up with them:
