One of the co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls Movement (BBOG), Aisha Yesufu, has taken to social media to threaten the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai. She demands to know why he has kept quiet since it was revealed that President Buhari’s daughter, Hana, used Nigeria’s Presidential Jet for a private function.

Hana was invited by the Emir of Bauchi and she used the Presidential Jet for the Durbar function.

Yesufu wrote on Twitter:

Who is now breaking the implication of Buhari’s 8.5bn 2020 budget to maintain presidential fleet? Please tell me I am wrong about the figure!

Some influential Nigerians that include PDP members have voiced out their disapproval of Hana using the Presidential jet for personal purposes. They argued that that behaviour was unconstitutional. That notwithstanding, the presidency said that the first family members are entitled to use the presidential jet.

While questioning El-Rufai for not speaking up against Buhari’s abuse of power, Yesufu reminded him that he was the same person who challenged the Goodluck Jonathan administration the time it planned to buy another presidential jet.
